Three technical meetings focused on sterile manufacturing and EU GMP Annex 1
SYFPAC® – Brevetti Angela will take part in a three-city technical seminar in Colombia dedicated to the technologies and manufacturing strategies supporting compliance with EU GMP Annex 1 requirements for sterile medicinal products.
Organized by American Farmagrup, SYFPAC®’s local partner, the seminar will bring together pharmaceutical manufacturers and international technology specialists in Bogotá on September 30, Medellín on October 1 and Cali on October 2.
The three meetings will provide an opportunity to explore different critical areas of sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing, from cleanroom and fluid system design to aseptic filling, particle control, container closure integrity testing and endotoxin control.

During each seminar, Ajay Kabbur, Area Sales Manager at Brevetti Angela, will represent SYFPAC® with the technical presentation: “Innovation in Aseptic BFS Filling and Particle Control”.
Blow-Fill-Seal and the evolving requirements of sterile manufacturing
The revised EU GMP Annex 1 has further increased the pharmaceutical industry’s focus on contamination control, process design, monitoring and the reduction of risks associated with human intervention.
Within this context, the seminar will offer pharmaceutical professionals the opportunity to explore different technologies across the sterile manufacturing process and their contribution to an integrated approach to contamination prevention. The SYFPAC® session, focused on Blow-Fill-Seal technology with Closed Parison, will specifically explore how process automation can help reduce contamination risks in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Particular attention will be dedicated to particle management and process monitoring, two key aspects in the evolving regulatory framework for sterile production. Blow-Fill-Seal integrates container formation, filling and sealing into one continuous and fully automated process within a controlled environment, combining process integration, reduced human intervention and advanced monitoring in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing.
